Best Travel Hair Care Products

Just because you are traveling, doesn’t mean your hair care needs to suffer! When it comes to my daily routine, I take my hair very seriously. Whether you are spending a week at the beach, going snowboarding in Colorado, or backpacking around Europe, it is so important to make sure your hair has everything it needs to stay healthy. 

Here are some of my absolute favorite travel hair care products that I use both on the road and at home on a daily basis! 

Shampoo + Conditioner Bar 

A few months ago I discovered shampoo and conditioner bars and my travel life has been changed ever since! Shampoo + Conditioner bars have become increasingly more popular over the  past year and I finally understand why (your hair will never feel better). These are perfect for travel since they don’t take up much space, they won’t spill all over your clothes, and they last forever saving you so much money! Here are some of my favorites:

Bottled Shampoo + Conditioner

Dry Shampoo

For those long travel days and limited hair washing time, dry shampoo will be your best friend! I live off of dry shampoo, even if my hair is freshly washed, to ensure that it stays looking clean for longer. When it comes to traveling, I go for more powder type dry shampoo just because I think they tend to last longer. Aerosol cans can also be a challenge to travel with depending on your destination so just keep that in mind!

Hair Protectants

Last year, after severely damaging my hair, I started using different hair protectors to start repairing. Now, I can’t go anywhere without my favorite heat protectants and leave-in products. Depending on where you are vacationing, it is so so important to take care of your hair. Changes in weather and activities like swimming in the ocean can do more damage to your hair than you think. Here are some of my personal favorite heat protectors and leave-in products to ensure your hair is nothing but healthy while traveling.

Deciding which hair tools to bring on a trip can be one of the most challenging parts of packing. I like packing super light so I tend to only bring one with me just to save some room in my suitcase.
